Innovative navigation services and applications need interdisciplinary dialogues across industry boundaries. The use of synergies between navigation, spatial data, information and communication technology is a decisive factor.
Therefore the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development (BMVBS) will hold together with BITKOM and ESA on 27-28. September 2011, "The Navigation Conference" (formerly Galileo user conference).
 

The focus of the introductory speeches and panel discussions will be on the topics:
- Smart City
- Real-time services through Cloud Computing
- Navigation of tomorrow
- Precise positioning and Privacy
 

Attendance at the welcome event (27.Sept.) and conference (28.Sept.) is free.
